L-WEB 803 for Mac Visualizer Tutorial

This tutorial will walk you through how to install the L-WEB 803 Visualizer tool so that you can see your site’s graphics from your Mac PC. If are using a Windows check out our Windows Tutorial. If you would like to install the L-WEB Applet on your iPhone or iPad, check out that tutorial here.

Things you will need

There are just a few things you need to get started
Your Device’s inside or outside IP address
If you don't know what this means or which one to use check out our Inside vs. Outside IP address article.

Your Device’s graphics password.
This password will be different from the LINX password used to interact with the LINX web interface. If you do not know your graphics password contact us.

1. Go to the L-WEB interface

Currently there is no dedicated L-WEB software for Mac, but you can access your graphics through the web interface. To access this interface go to loytec.com/lweb802/#lwebProjects. You can bookmark this page for easy access.

2. Input Your Site Settings

Once you have the web interface saved, you can add your project. To input a new project click on ‘New project…’ at the top of the page.

  • Enter the name for the project/device. This is for your reference only so name it however you like.

  • Enter the Inside OR Outside IP address of the linx you are trying to connect to.

  • Leave the port blank unless told otherwise by your IT Administrator

  • Type in your L-WEB password, if you don’t know your graphics password contact us.

  • Tap on ‘Remember Password’ to allow your computer to save your password and give you one-click access to your project

  • In the ‘Graphical View’ Field simply tap on the list icon on the right. The program will find any L-WEB projects on the device and let you choose if there is more than one. If you have an iPhone designed L-WEB project then it will be listed with an ‘_iphone’ in the name DO NOT select this one. iPhone designed projects are not formatted correctly for a computer screen and will not display correctly. If you get an error make sure all of your connection settings are correct.

3. Launch your graphics

Once you have input all of your settings you can click on the ‘Ok’ button. Your site graphics will load and you are ready to go. If you have multiple sites that you want to add, simply repeat step 2 for any projects you want to add.
